About Faith In Action Red Wing
We were founded in 1998 through a Robert Wood Johnson Faith In Action Grant. We currently have 245 volunteers who provided over 6000 hours of volunteer services in the past year. We are a not-for-profit public corporation, and have a coalition of 9 area congregations involved in our mission.
Our staff consists of a full time Executive Director, a part-time Volunteer Coordinator, and a part-time dispatcher. All are dedicated to the successful operation of the program.

Red Wing is
in our community
Lee is the initial director of the program, and has served in that capacity ever since. He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota, and was a men’s wear retailer for 50 years, prior to his retirement, and then hiring as director. He brings his joy of dealing with people, his marketing and business experiences to the position.
Marcia has served as a secretary for a variety of organizations including Rotary of Minnesota, and the Red Wing Collector’s Society. In addition to secretarial services, she co-ordinates volunteer placement for friendly visiting, respite, and book-house calls.
Don is a retired business instructor from the Red Wing school system. He is a part-time employee, but rises above that as a valuable office volunteer as well.
